After nearly three years and hundreds of celebrations, we began asking ourselves a simple question:
What if we took everything we have learned about childhood, creativity, hospitality, and joyful gatherings and designed one signature birthday experience around it?
The result is The Play Shop Birthday—a thoughtfully curated celebration that brings together our favorite traditions, creative experiences, and moments of delight in one beautifully considered format.

Our playful art and making space, recognizable by its signature green stripes and filled with open-ended creativity, hands-on projects, and curated materials for children and adults to enjoy throughout the celebration.
The Photo Studio
Our whimsical portrait space for birthday photos, family snapshots, and keepsake memories.
The Little Library
Our cozy reading room with books, soft seating, and quiet corners for reading, feeding babies, or taking a break from the excitement of the party.

From setup to cleanup, our team manages the details so you can enjoy the celebration alongside your guests.

Each celebration includes one guided group activity led by The Play Shop team.
Recommended for Ages 3–6
Slime Studio
Children create and customize their own slime to take home.
Celebration Bakery
A bakery-inspired creative experience where children use homemade, non-toxic Play-Doh, rolling pins, cutters, and decorating tools to design their own sweet creations.
Recommended for Ages 7–8
Trucker Hat Bar
Guests customize their own trucker hats with patches and embellishments.
Charm Keychain Studio
Guests create personalized charm keychains to take home.
Cake, Confetti & Celebration
Families gather in The Party Room for food, cake, birthday traditions, and our signature confetti celebration.
The Grand Finale
Ages 3–6
The Birthday Parade
Guests grab bubbles and celebration wands and follow the birthday child on a joyful and musical lap through The Play Shop.
The Play Shop Present Piñata
The grand finale of every Play Shop birthday. Guests gather for our signature pull-string piñata filled with sweets, stickers, treasures, and surprises.
Each child receives a favor bag to collect their treasures and take home a little piece of the celebration.
Ages 7–8
Karaoke Celebration
A high-energy sing-along featuring favorite songs, laughter, and a memorable birthday sendoff.
Guests take home the creations they make during their activity as their party favor.
Leave the Details to Us
Premium paper goods for children and adults, The Play Shop Present (our signature pull-string piñata) filled with party favors, setup, and cleanup are all included.
Simply bring your food, drinks, and cake—we will take care of the rest.
Investment
$1,495
Includes up to 15 children.
Additional guests may be added for $35 per child, up to a maximum of 20 children.
A $500 deposit secures your date. The remaining balance is paid in two installments prior to the celebration.
Food and beverages are not included.
Optional enhancements and celebration upgrades are available for families looking to further personalize their event.
